These magnet closures are super strong and perfect for being sandwiched in-between layers of thin leather to allow seamless and invisible capabilities to a variety of bag and accessory designs.
The larger the magnet, the stronger the force, and the thicker the leather it can go through. We have successfully ran all of these magnets through 2oz leathers without issue. Depending on the strength you require, you can go much thicker and still have it stay together, especially on the larger magnets.
Magnets are sold as a "set" meaning both sides are included. For the 21mm rectangle, it is sold in a 2pack, so two sets. Magnets will be incased in plastic which can be useful for sewing/placement, but it can be removed. They may also include a metal cover on the non-sticking side, used to direct the force. This can also be removed if you require for your design.
